I'm a mess!

So, this morning I woke up with Jesse at about 5 something to pack his lunch and get him ready for work. Well I sent him off just fine, and then I decided I was WAY too tired to stay awake, so I went back to sleep (after setting the alarm for 8:06). Then when the alarm went off, I hit snooze once which I probably shouldn't have done because that made me still want to sleep more. After it went off again, I got up and felt so tired. And the crazy thing is, is that I went to bed at 11pm... not as late as I usually do. So anyways, I got up and decided to take a shower.. which didn't turn into a shower... I got to the point of turning on the hot water, feeling how warm it was.... deciding I was freezing... plugging up the plugger thing, and falling asleep in the tub. Don't worry I did wake up in time to turn off the water before overflowing... But see my problem?? How can you have a good day with a mess of a morning like this??
Oh, and the only reason I got out of the bathtub was because I heard a huge "thump" come from the other room. Which meant Pistol, the siamese cat, had jumped on the counter to lick the fish water and knocked something down. So I pulled myself out with my hair half-wet from falling asleep in the tub, and got dressed. Then I decided I should probably finish sewing the bag that I needed finished today. So I started sewing... and I sewing until 12pm... mind you I got out of the tub at 9:40 am... then I realized I needed to get to work because I forgot what time they needed me there... so I finished the bag and went to go do something about my horrid appearance.
I looked terrible!! My hair was a MESS... and I had no make up on, with horrible baggies under my eyes... no wonder men leave so early to work.. then they don't have to deal with their wives looking so creepy for very long... or in the light.
So I combed out the top part of my hair, and pulled the rest into a bun, cause I'm lazy... and put a cute flower in it to pretend it was pretty. Then I threw on some make up and rushed out the door. When I got to town, "old main to be exact, I parked about a block away from the sewing center and walked quickly to the store. Then I found out I needed to be there a little before 3 pm cause the class started at 3:30 p.m. So I walked around "Old Main" for a while. This was probably the best part of my day because I love the October air. It smells so good, and feels delightful! I just wanted to eat it, ...cause that just makes so much sense. I walked into a lot of stores, just to see what they were about. One that really caught my eye was a Halloween store/Costume shop... Jesse and I have been trying to figure out what to be for Halloween, and I think if I take him there we might be about to figure it out.
Yep, I enjoyed walking around in the wonderful fall weather... then I went to Glenda's house (where I work and help at her sewing classes) for 3 hours. Then when I got home, I realized I had made a huge mess when I was sewing with thread, scraps, and random cloth everywhere! Then I looked around more... there were a little bit of dishes in the sink, some crumbs on the floor, laundry to fold, and probably a lot more hiding in the shadows waiting to attack me when I finished everything else. But instead of cleaning up I made dinner, and designated tomorrow for house clean up day.... Oh man... what a mess.... Well... have a great day!!!

P.S. I started a new blog at   http://lifehowithappened.blogspot.com/  check it out when you can! It's a story I started... and plan on adding to.
